In one hour, you'll set up an AI assistant on your own laptop that can chat, read your files, and talk out loud. Then you'll make it yours: a research partner for class, a job-hunt sidekick, or the engine behind a side hustle.

No experience needed. This session is listed as Intermediate / Advanced, but if you can copy and paste, you can do this. We'll guide you through every step.

How the hour flows

    A short live look at real AI assistants doing genuinely useful work.

  3. ~10 min

    Switch on & check

    You arrive set up. Together we switch your assistant to a faster AI model and make sure it replies. A quick check, not a fresh start.

  4. Rest of the hour

    Build your own

    The heart of the session: hands-on time to make something that's yours, with the crew on the floor to help.

Required before Saturday

All you need is a laptop and an hour.

  • A Mac or Windows laptop

    One you can install apps on. Chromebooks, iPads, and locked school or work laptops won't work.

  • About an hour at home

    Finish the five setup steps before you arrive, because we start building right away. It's all free.

  • Zero coding experience

    You'll copy, paste, and press Enter. We explain everything else as we go.
